With over 50 years trading, K.J. Shortis Group has unrivalled experience in automotive parts supply and fitting centres.

The group operates five companies across the UK, from North Yorkshire to the Thames, from retail shops and fitting bays, to trade distribution along with property interests, with a turnover of almost £40m.

Shortis Fifty YearsAs a whole, the K.J. Shortis group employs over 600 enthusiastic staff, owns over 180 vehicles, and trades from nearly 100 sites at 75 locations, the majority of which are freehold.

EU Ltd. Trade automotive component distributors serving East Anglia and London from 14 sites, with a fleet of over 90 vehicles.

Linco PLC. Operating from 6 locations in Lincolnshire, Linco distribute automotive components.

Fast-Fit Tyres and Exhausts
Fast-Fit Exhausts Ltd. Supply and fitting of tyres, exhausts, batteries and catalytic converters at 13 locations across East Anglia.

Wilco Motor Spares
Wilco Motor Spares Ltd. Retail sales of car spares, 18 branches across East Anglia with a central distribution warehouse.

Wilco Motosave
Motosave Ltd. Combining both spares and accessories sales with on-site fitting centres at each branch. 25 branches throughout Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The Shortis Group is actively searching for new trading sites both within the area covered by our existing network and also further afield. Properties in East Anglia, East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire are of particular interest. Linco

Shops and Fitting Bays
  • Minimum local population 10,000
  • Freehold
  • 5,000 sq. ft. - 10,000 sq. ft.
  • Fronting onto main or secondary roads
  • Own parking in front, or adjacent to, the building

  • EU-Linco Trade
  • Minimum local population 20,000
  • Freehold warehouse style building
  • 3,000 sq. ft. - 5,000 sq. ft
  • Good access to road network for the surrounding area
  • Own parking

  • The Shortis Group is a private company with a strong capital base, and as such can make quick decisions on suitable properties.


    We work with our suppliers to provide quality items at the best value for our customers.

    We deal with most major suppliers within our industry to ensure our comprehensive range offers the right product at a price that's right for our customers. Our suppliers need to be able to work closely with our buying, warehouse, and distribution team to ensure the supply process is as efficient as possible.

    Clearance Items

    We are happy to consider one-off, clearance or close-out items. We have experience in handling these types of products and can offer expedient decisions for suppliers looking for a quick and painless transaction. Our warehouses are capable of handling surplus stock deals of most quantities. Items are sold through our branch network only.
